Delete your data

How to remove your Reeltap data from your device and from our servers.

Reeltap has no sign-up and never uploads your videos, so most of your data lives only on your phone. The only thing on our servers is an anonymous account (random ID, optional display name, credits and invites).

1. Delete projects and media on your device

  1. Open Reeltap, long-press a project on the Home screen and choose Delete — or
  2. Uninstall the app. This removes all projects, drafts, downloaded templates, effects and models from your device.

Videos you've exported to your Photos library stay there until you delete them in Photos.

2. Delete your anonymous account from our servers

  1. In Reeltap, open Profile and tap Copy next to your ID.
  2. Email privacy@reeltap.app with the subject “Delete my Reeltap data” and paste your ID.
  3. We'll confirm and delete your account within 30 days.

What is deleted: your anonymous app ID, display name, credits, rewards and invite history.
What may be kept: server logs for up to 30 days, and records we must keep by law (for example, related to purchases). Purchase receipts held by Apple or Google are managed by them.

If you can't open the app any more, email us anyway with your device model and the approximate date you installed Reeltap — we'll do our best to find the account.

3. Advertising data

Ads data is collected and controlled by Google AdMob. You can limit it at any time:

  • iPhone: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking — turn tracking off for Reeltap.
  • Android: Settings › Google › Ads › Delete advertising ID.
  • Manage Google ad personalisation at myadcenter.google.com.
